i gots lots to say... what should I say first?
ya'll want political or personal? practical or purely useless? short or incredibly long? research update, or travel observations? thoughtful and philosophical, or... not? pictures? prose?
or more talking about food? i could definitely do more food.
see, even before the writing happens, there's this question - WHAT to write? and it always seems like there's too few choices or way, way too many.
Please write some about your work and then transition to the personal thoughts inspired by your work, and then end with a little about where you have traveled with a few pictures to illustrate what you are describing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for asking. I would love to see more food writing and more pictures. It would also be fun to read random snippets from your interviews, as well as your musings about the language and culture. As I recall, conversations flowed seamlessly between English and Tagalog and various regional dialects. Which left me feeling lost and rather stupid. Oh, and what about the musicality of Philippines languages? I don't know if that's the right word, but talking to Veronica reminded me of this.
